Day 2: God's War-Jihad, Who calls the shot

Assalamua'laikum
sorry for the gap posting about this..insyaAllah i will try to post everything tonight, otherwise, you'l just have to wait..i think, i'm gonna mix my language here...i mean english&malay..no other languages okayy..hehe

this talk was by Imam Irfan Faizi Al-Azhari
it was hard for me to grab the meaning of jihad at the beginning but alhamdulillah after explaning it to my other friends, it does make sense to me..when people heard the word jihad, most people will automatically think of extrimist, war :sobrakana:, killing, a duty and it is not their fault as the Imam said, if people check for its meaning on the internet, that will what they find in the definition but the word jihad actually means STRIVES or to STRUGGLE. Allah sent the Quran in Arabic and some of the Surahs start with arabic letters for example: Alif Lam Miim, Nun, Alif Lam Ra, Alif Lam Mim Sad, Tho Sin Mim..only Allah knows what it means and every letter if we read, will insyaAllah give us the barakah..

okay, what am i trying to say here..the word jihad in arabic consist of Jim Ha Dal..Allah has reasons to make it spells that way, and why the 3-letter shape that way together..everything in the Quran is not just letters, but the shape actually means something that suits the word masyaAllah..the word Jihad appears 4 times in the Quran and only twice Allah commands to Propehet Muhammad S.A.W.

now, what is the importance of jihad?
the purpose is by referring to this ayat "Illahu Kalimatillah" which means Word of God being raised. Illahu also means Aloof and in other way saying that the importance of jihad is to combat, the name of Islam is raised and Seen in the aftermath. So if in terms of war, the ending must raised the name of Islam..faham..? cani..aku bagi analogy lah..kalau dalam decision making, others views should be consider kn? sekiranya, the verdict made was bias, only because the one who suggested was his bestfriend or someone from his family or because he was threatened to pick his suggestion or he chose that decision just for his own sake..what do you think will happen?
1. others will be unsatisfied
2. arguments arised
3. small riot perhaps
4. nda datang kraja
5. fitnah here and there
6. dendam
7. marah yang nda habis-habis
8. i'll make you think

so what will be the end result? not good right? yatah yang ku cuba explain tu..employees kelayi, nama syarikat pun bottom list tarus..catu jua dengan jihad, kalau urang cakap kan berperang kerana Allah tapi end resultnya meruntuhkan nama islam atu, bukan tah jihad tu namanya..

i give you some example lah..masa zaman nabi dulu, ada perang badar, uhud, khandaq, tabuk *sila sambung the list hehe* some of the wars ani terjadi disebabkan orang-orang kafir berlaku zalim arah orang islam..kan tani kana suruh berperang kalau durang mulakan..nda ja..?tapi, the aftermath of the war are:
1.sistem perhambaan dihapuskan
2.martabat wanita dinaikkan
3.erase oppression, discrimination, not just among the believers but also to the non-believers
....
hence, people SEE what Islam has done for them..the war was not something that 'ruin' their lives BUT save them from slavery and cruelty..alhamdulillah..

Jihad is the struggle to maintain the word of Allah, word from Allah ani yang dari Quran and hadith-hadith nabi..sal apa yang nabi dapat datangnya dari Allah..apa yang nabi buat pun dengan izin Allah..jihad does not only means berperang as in 'battlefield' NO! it also means how you try to make Islam stands at its highest..how we are willing to support nama Islam ani.not just commencing it on your identity card but also commencing it as your way of life..how you behave? is it according to Islam..?how to show that Islam is really really beautiful by looking at you..sometimes the non-believers act nicer than as, they are not rude, they apologise easily, they don't judge, they don't curse, if they curse, they say sorry immediately *just like my colleagues did to me* but that's them, it's nothing for them to say those words..but comparing it to us??? eek

anyway..so what can you see the way people do Jihad now? i know you can give some answers..i know it is sad..but it is due to lack of understanding and yes, media influence..we tend to believe everything what the media is telling us..and correct me if i'm wrong, when people heard the word jihad, it made them uncomfortable and want to move on to another topic...when i first read the title for this Day 2, i didn't want to attend it actually..but, it would be such a big loss if i didn't coz i wouldn't understand what it meant other than war.

the Imam told us that it is important to understand Islam and to be able to explain it to our future generations so that they will not misunderstood and being clueless about it..
before i end this, i end up with how the Imam ended the session.

"if you are pointing you finger, 3 fingers are pointing towards you" try it! at the beginning i didn't get the meaning..if you start doing something they are still bigger responsibilities ahead of you from that action..if you say something, make sure it is acceptable coz people will be pointing on you if you're wrong..1finger VS 3 finger..you can be on your own when others are against you..if what you do is according to the Quran and Sunnah, insyaAllah the 1 VS 3 is nothing but victory in the hereafter..:woooh:

one more thing!!!
Ketika balik dari satu peperangan yang dahsyat melawan kaum musyrikin, Rasulullah SAW bersabda yang bermaksud :

Kita baru kembali dari satu peperangan yang kecil untuk memasuki peperangan yang lebih besar. Sahabat terkejut dan bertanya, "Peperangan apakah itu wahai Rasulullah ? " Baginda berkata, "Peperangan melawan hawa nafsu." (Riwayat Al Baihaqi)
